Showroom Sales Representative

Job Type: Full-time

The Stone Collection is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customer relations and front-of-the-house operations. This is a unique opportunity to learn and grow within an established global industry that encompasses design, construction, and sourcing.

Who are we? The Stone Collection is a global importer and national distributor of high-quality natural stone and premium engineered surfaces. We import from over 30 countries and currently have 7 showrooms in 5 states.

Responsibilities:

  • Saturday availability is required; enjoy a weekday off each week.
  • Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming customers and setting the tone for a premium showroom experience.
  • Guide customers through the warehouse layout and procedures for selecting stone
  • Monitor and maintain a safe environment for customers while they are viewing materials.
  • Determine the customer’s project needs and point them in the correct direction.
  • Aid with picking out material for projects, demonstrating product knowledge
  • Answer questions relating to all materials available
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of natural stone and related premium, exclusive hard-surface products
  • Deliver outstanding customer service in person and via phone communications.
  • Support the achievement of individual and team sales goals.
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness in all sample rooms.
  • Assist the Outside Sales teams as needed, including providing photos and product-related support.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to take a personalized approach with customers, exercising sound judgment and a strong design aesthetic when recommending products
  • Committed to learning about natural stone, engineered surfaces, and working in a fast-paced, high-energy industry alongside experienced stone professionals
  • Ability to take a personalized approach with customers, exercising sound judgment and a strong design aesthetic when recommending products
    Sales experience of 1 year preferred.
  • Retail/Hospitality experience a plus!

The Stone Collection is seeking an Driver / Material Handler to support our logistics and warehouse operations. This is a unique opportunity to learn and grow within an established global industry that encompasses design, construction, and sourcing.

Who are we? The Stone Collection is a global importer and national distributor of high-quality natural stone and premium engineered surfaces. We import from over 30 countries and currently have 7 showrooms in 5 states.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver freight to consignees
  • Pick up freight as required
  • Load and unload freight as required
  • Maintain daily trip records, records of fuel purchases, mileage records, etc.
  • Proper use and care of all equipment assigned to him/her for the performance of his/her duties.
  • Reports promptly any delays that will affect pick up or delivery appointments.
  • Check in inventory
  • Place bar codes on new inventory
  • Help with slab showings
  • Maintain a clean warehouse through sweeping, picking up debris, etc.
  • Perform other related work as required

Qualifications:

  • 1-year continuous current driving record
  • Verifiable previous driving employment history
  • Clean MVR
